So this little fellow came wandering in to my patio this morning. Right now he's all skin and bones, but I'm going to get him back in shape. Looks like he's a Lab/bull do mix of some sort...My place is too small for another dog, so if any of you San Diego Jalops would like an addition to your kennel, let me know.

For now, we are calling him "Bacon."

He's a cutie. Have you taken him to see if he's chipped? He might have slipped his collar if he didn't have one when you found him

Nope. No chip. Whoever had him was certainly not interested in taking care of him, so Mrs. Ontop and I dropped a couple of Benjamins on getting him checked out at the vet and got his first shots etc.... We turned him over to the same group where we got our current dog. If you are in San Diego, you can check them out at theanimalpad.org they are a great, non profit, no kill animal rescue group.

Awe I bet I could convince my wife if we lived anywhere near there but alas we are in chicago. Hope the little guy finds a good home though.
